Daylight Savings Time

As I begrudgingly climbed outta bed this morning a half hour early compared to the same time yesterday but a half hour late thanks to daylight savings time, I thought, “Is DST even biblical?!” A cursory search on Google revealed that some cite Joshua 10:12-14 as evidence that it is. Personally, I think that’s a stretch but perhaps after more research (and coffee) I might see it their way. Meantime, I’m thankful for the privilege of worshipping God on this Lord’s day.

“Such true worship will stand the test of Christ’s great principle, ‘By their fruits you shall know them’. It sanctifies the Christian’s life, and makes them walk with God, lifting them above fear and love of the world. It enables a Christian to show God to other folks. Such worship comes from heaven, and has the mark of God upon it.” — J.C. Ryle

Currently, the only social media site I post to is gab, which touts itself as “The Free Speech Social Network and Pioneer of the Parallel Economy.”
